As a senior manager on the carbon strategy team, focus is on global decarbonization efforts to meet the firm’s net zero operating carbon 2040 goal. Hines is a private fully integrated real estate investment, development and management firm requiring engagement across all aspects of the company business practices in the development of standards, processes and training to support decarbonization actions for a multitude of job families.

The role of director of design comprised a mix of design governance and project management. This included spearheading the largest resiliency focused waterfront redevelopment project in the district at the time, working with the broader real property team on an updated sustainability plan and district wide net zero road map; writing RFP’s for consultant and capital works, and awarding contracts to successful applicants; and design and contract oversight.
